FujiHisense 2022 Dolby Atmos Soundbar
The latest soundbar from Hisense offers good bang for buck in the middle price range. It’s built for next-gen gaming, with Dolby Atmos support. Including the 180W wireless sub – which is always a big benefit – there’s 12 speakers in this beast. They deliver a solid 510W in sound overall. Importantly, it’s got 4K passthrough, which means you can plug your console straight into it to get the best sound experience. The Eilex PRISIM AI that runs it actively fixes up alignment errors between the sound and the picture, too. Impressive sound bar.

LG Tone Free FP9 earbuds
Connecting via Bluetooth to whatever device you’re using, the latest entry in the LG Tone Free range has a neat feature. The carry case has a special UV light in it that kills bacteria. So, if you share it with friends, or have an ear infection, and bugs won’t live for long. The carry case also acts as a receiver, so you can plug into a device like an Xbox controller via a headphone jack and send a signal wirelessly. They fit snuggly, are sweatproof and offer impressive sound. And have active noise cancellation, so you can use it in all environments. It even has three mics for phone and up to 10-hours of battery life.

Moochies Connect Watch
This smartwatch is specifically designed for kids but has plenty of features your parents will like, too. It’s got the ability to count steps, take photos, send text and voice messages, and make calls. But it also has GPS tracking and an emergency button, so if you’re ever in trouble you can tap it and your parents will not only know you need help, but where you are. It’s waterproof, too, and has a class mode so you don’t get in trouble at school. The only bummer is you need to use the in-built Sim on plan that costs at least $15/month to get the features.

Corsair M65 RGB Ultra wireless mouse
Already a great wired gaming mouse, the Corsair M65 has levelled-up recently and taken its performance into the wireless realm. It uses low latency Bluetooth connection to give you a fantastic response time that is under 1 millisecond. Optical switches help double you input speeds, too. The 26000dpi sensor provides the accuracy and it’s light and easy to grip in kids’ hands. It also has the cool ability to change the weight balance and add tilt controls, plus it feels great in your hands.

Samsung S22
The main thing we like about the new Samsung phone is that it has the power and great camera of the bigger phones, but in a smaller handset. The 6.1-inch screen is still a good size, looks amazing and offers a stunning 120Hz refresh rate, but it’s much easier for kids and people with smaller hands to use. It’s more than powerful enough to play the latest games and while the battery isn’t the best, it will still easily last you a day of heavy use. Did we mention the camera has a 50MP lens, too!

Amazon Echo Show 15
Do you hate forgetting what’s going on every day as you’re getting ready in the morning? So many activities and sports, as well as changing weather and homework. The Echo Show 15 solves this. It looks like a picture frame – and you can get it to show photos if you like. But it’s also a smart device, that will recognise your face and then show you your calendar, the weather and everything you need to know. You can leave notes for other family members and operate smart home technology, too. So cool!

Theragun Mini
If you play a lot of sport or spend too much time on a computer, you probably suffer from a sore neck or muscles. One fix, alongside doing your stretches, is to massage your muscles and this device does it better than almost any other. Small enough to fit in your bag, it has three speed settings and uses back and forth percussions to get deep into your muscle to fix the tension. It can beat up to 2400 times a minute, which is crazy, is quiet, easy to hold and has a three-hour battery.

GoPro Volta
The latest GoPro accessory is a big win for those of you who love to record big days outdoors. This grip is more than just a perch on which to hold your GoPro. It has a battery inside that provides extra power so your GoPro can last all day. Its legs can fold out to form a tripod. It has built in controls that can not only operate your GoPro directly, but also wirelessly from up to 30m away. And it has the flexibility to allow you to alter the camera angle. There’s an option to get it in a cool kit with a GoPro Hero 10, media mod and light mod accessories, too.

Alienware x14 Gaming Laptop
If you thought you needed a massive desktop gaming PC to play the latest releases, think again. This new 14” laptop is the thinnest and lightest of its kind, but remains super powerful. This is one of the first true gaming laptops we’ve seen that you can actually carry in a backpack. It’s got a 12th Gen Intel Core H-series processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU packed into it. The 1080p screen offers great colours and brightness at an awesome 144Hz refresh rate, too. The fans can get loud, but the speakers are great and the battery lasts for over 10-hours of great gaming.
