Tech Head – November 2022

Twelve South HoverBar Duo
We’ve found this tablet accessory to be extremely useful around the house. It only has one job, which is to clasp your tablet in its clamps and then hold it in a position where it’s easier to see. But it comes with this awesome, flexible head that allows you to attach it to the side of a desk or bench, or even a cupboard so it hangs upside down. Then you can rotate it in whatever direction you need. There’s also a secondary base stand, should you prefer. We now have so much more room on our desk.

Sony INZONE H9
Sony has released a new wireless premium gaming headset, which works just as well on PC and mobiles as it does on PS5. It’s incredibly light and very comfortable with plush cushioning. And it makes use of Sony’s 360 Spatial Sound to give you an accurate representation of a game’s world. For 32-hours before the battery runs out, too. The H9 also comes with active noise cancellation, but the sound quality is so good and loud, we reckon you don’t need it. If you’re not gaming in a noisy location, get the Sony INZONE H7 instead and save some money.

Huawei Band 7
If you’re looking for an alternative to Fitbit, the Huawei Band 7 is a really good option. It looks fantastic, with a large AMOLED 1.47” screen, yet a light and sleek design. It tracks your heart-rate, steps, oxygen and calories, and it’s accurate, too. The companion app is well made, making it easy to set your goals and even download different watch faces. What you don’t get is any third-party app support, GPS tracking or music, but that’s ok at this great price.
