KRASH: What do you think of NXT changes, with Triple H becoming head of creative and different versions of the logo hinting at new things to come…?

Ricochet: I think it will be even better because I think maybe they now have a grasp on bringing some RAW or SmackDown people in and it might be something bigger. I’m excited to see what till come from it.

KRASH: How does it feel to be the first WWE Superstar to ever hold the IC, US and NXT North American Championships?

Ricochet: It’s amazing for someone who didn’t think they would ever get to be in the WWE because they were so small. To now be in the history books! I feel like I have a couple more things that could go into the history books as well. Every time I go out there I try to put my all into it. Any time I get an opportunity, whether it’s RAW, SmackDown or NXT, I’m gunna knock it out of the park. And it being something natural, not something we planned, makes it even better.

KRASH: How has your love of anime helped craft your character?

Ricochet: The story in anime is just so well-told, whether it’s Dragon Ball, One Piece or Bleach. Even if it’s like a new character they just introduced 300 episodes in, within four episodes you’re like ‘This character is awesome!’. Every character is important and I think that’s something they’re going to focus on more with WWE – making sure every character valuable. Even when I’m working I’m thinking about anime. Say, I’m doing a press and I gotta get two more done. I’m like: ‘Goku would do two more for sure!’ Or in the ring during a match, I might think about Spider-Man in the first movie when the building falls on him and he’s trying to lift the whole thing…

KRASH: If you could pick three wrestlers to have on your team, who would you choose?

Ricochet: If we’re talking super heroes then The Hulk, Thor and Superman. For WWE Superstars, Randy Orton (because of his Survivor Series wins), Shawn Michaels and Papa Shango.
