Doroni H1

Electrify The Sky!

If you’re shopping around for a flying supercar, look no further than the Doroni H1 eVTOL. It’s not complicated to operate – and you don’t need a pilot’s license!

While most similar companies build the simplest multicopter-style frames possible, the Miami-based Doroni Aerospace offers dedicated horizontal thrust too, taking the lead in the industry!

‘eVTOL’ stands for electric vertical take-off landing, meaning you don’t need a helipad or a runway – just park or take off from your driveway!

Unlike other eVTOLs, the Doroni H1 wasn’t designed as an air taxi, but rather a personal transport to beat the traffic – the fact that it looks awesome is a big bonus!

The aerodynamics are futuristic but equally retro, with a two-seat bubble cockpit, sitting between large front and rear wings! These wings are dominated by massive fan ducts, each housing a pair of large, rotating vertical lift props, which add drag. At the back, there’s a further two props for that extra horizontal thrust!

The electric powertrain under the ‘hood’ gives it a top speed of 225 km/h. Cruise speed will be roughly 160 km/h, with a range of around 96 km. The battery can be charged from 20-80% in about 20 minutes!

Inside the cockpit, there are a pair of supercar sports seats and two joysticks. This allows the driver/pilot to maneuver the H1 from either side. In addition, there are three screens constantly updating all the info you need – sat-nav, speed, and socials.

Safety-wise, the landing gear and body are designed to withstand energy, while emergency airbags will cushion most rough landings! There’s also a parachute onboard, capable of bringing the whole aircraft down gently in the case of a total epic fail!

Doroni plans for the H1 to be certified as a Light Sport Aircraft, which would mean a standard driving license is all you would need to fly it, along with a 20 hour training course!

Deliveries of the production H1 will commence in late 2024. With over 200 pre-order requests, it’s less expensive than you think, at around $195,000 – all you need is a wider garage!
