Convertible And Crazy!
Pagani just released its latest monster to the world and unsurprisingly, it slaps! Named the Imola Roadster, it’s the convertible version of the Imola and then some – continuing a high performance, high octane trail of madness!
Paying tribute to the Italian racetrack at Imola, the Imola coupe first rolled out in 2020. Now, Pagani want to combine the track performance of that car, with the open-air rush and slick tech the Huayra Roadster BC brings.
If the Huayra R was your jam, then the Imola Roadster will really hit your sweet spot; it’s essentially a Roadster BC with all the R bits attached – and it’s road ready so you can drive it without any pesky pitlane restrictions!
With 811 lb ft of torque now available on request at 5,600 rpm, it’s the best performing open topper the brand has ever built – hitting 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds! Power from the AMG sourced twin turbo V12 has been increased to 838 horsepower, ensuring it goes from nought to no-way before you can blink an eye!
The large front intakes and the unique roof scoop ensure 600 kg of downforce at 280 km/h. Because it’s such a downforce-generating monster, Pagani added four highly sophisticated flaps for active aero assistance, and installed intelligent suspension to help it squat, drop, and roll rally-style!
With the six-pipe titanium exhaust still on show, the new tail lights with vents extract the heat from the wheel arches, icing the brakes while also generating downforce over the wheels, for the ultimate grab and go!
Inside, this Imola gets points with its Carbo wood trim, embossed leather, and a carbon fibre seat with four point harness. Limited to eight worldwide, the cost for this ultimate in excess will run over $6 million, so unless you’re Jeff Bezos or living in his neighbourhood – not in this lifetime!
