DJI Osmo Action 4

If you thought GoPro was the only big brand in action cameras, think again. The DJI Osmo Action 4 is its equal. The excellent 160-minute battery length is perhaps its best feature. But it also has a 1/1.3″ sensor, which is great in low-light, and a 155-degree ultra-wide lens. It records up to 4K at 120fps, has a HorizoSteady stabilization mode, is waterproof to 18m, and has two colour touchscreens (front and back). It’s particularly good in cold conditions like the snow, too, where the GoPro struggles. An excellent action cam.

LG Tone Free T90

The LG Tone T90 earbuds sit very snuggly in your ear, and with the active noise cancellation activated, they do a decent job of blocking out ambient noise. This makes for an immersive listening experience, whether you’re gaming, watching TV or listening to music on your Bluetooth device. There are the first wireless earbuds to have Dolby Atmos and Dolby Head Tracking support, which means the audio adjusts as you move your head. The driver has jumped up to 11mm in this new iteration, too, delivering a quality sound experience overall.

Brother PT-D460BT Versatile Label Printer

Are you sick of your sibling stealing your stuff? Or losing things at school and getting busted by your mum. This device connects to a phone, PC or Mac via Bluetooth, then lets you type out your own labels (or even QR codes or barcodes) that are instantly printed. The labels can be from 3.5mm to 18mm wide, and you can make it say whatever you want. For example, “coolest dude ever!” You can then stick these onto anything, making life a lot easier, or sillier, depending on how you use it.

ASUS ROG Ally

Imagine a video game system that looks a lot like a Switch, but plays PC games! That’s what you get with the ASUS ROG Ally. It’s a bit bulkier than a Switch and doesn’t feel quite as good in your hands, but it literally just has Windows on it, allowing you to do whatever you can do on a PC, on a handheld device. So, you can connect your Steam account, or your Xbox Game Pass account, download games and start playing anywhere. Only problem is the battery life isn’t great, so it’s not good for long drives.

HyperX Cloud III

We’ve been a fan of the HyperX headsets for a while, and the Cloud III improves the comfort even further with a thicker headband and a better cup angle that grips it to your noggin.  The large 53mm dynamic driver delivers a wide sound range and, in particular, the bass sounds great. The detachable 10mm boom mic also sounds very clear, a nice improvement. It’s not amazing at surround sound, but does have DTS Headphone X support. But we certainly love that it works across any device. Although do note, it’s wired, not wireless.

Google Pixel Tablet

Having taken the phone market by storm, Google has now released a tablet. It also has super impressive photo and photo editing capabilities, like the phones. A neat addition is a speaker dock, which not only holds the tablet upright, but produces decent audio. It gives the tablet some versatility where it can behave like the Amazon Show. It even has voice recognition! It’s not awfully powerful, and there’s nothing flashy about the 11” touchscreen, but it’s not too expensive, either. A great second screen in your home.
